#5. Tryan and Ray take home the Team Roping title.

We start with the PRCA Rodeo down in Belt. Team Roping event, and how about Brady Tryan from Huntley and Kasper Ray from Mossleigh, Alberta showing how it’s done with a time of 5.4 seconds. That would be the best time of the weekend, and the pair would walk away with $1,363 each of first place money.

#4. Hey hey! A Billings double play on opening day!

Some baseball — Billings Mustangs vs the Missoula Osprey on opening night. How about Carlos Rivero charging from short and he starts the 6-4-3 double play! The Mustangs would come from behind and get a win to start the season.

#3. Tyrell Smith making the Saddle Bronc look easy!

We head back to the rodeo in Belt, we go to the Saddle Bronc event. Tyrell Smith from Sand Coulee riding the bucking bronc by the name of Cheap Thrills. Smith scores 80 points, and he’s walking away $1,100 and a first place victory!

#2. Logan Sowers literally starts the season out with a bang! (Bang into the wall that is)

Helena Brewers vs the Great Falls Voyagers on opening night. Top of the first Yeison Coca flies out to deep left, and check out Logan Sowers track this ball down for an amazing catch as he slams into the wall and holds onto it! Check out that replay! That’s the first out of the year. That’s how you start off the season in style! Voyagers get the win on a walk-off single on opening day!

#1. Tanner Theriault becomes the bull riding master of the weekend!

We top it all off with the bull riding event. On the very last ride of the evening, Tanner Theriault from Townsend, Montana has a spectacular ride here on the bull named Hot Potato and Theriault walks away with a winning score of 84 and he is absolutely psyched about it! With good reason, that’s the best score on the weekend and Theriault walks away 1,184 dollars richer!
