HELENA — The Helena Senators and Bozeman Bucks split their American Legion Baseball doubleheader Friday at Kindrick Legion Field in Helena.
The road-team Bucks won a low-scoring Game 1, 1-0, behind the pitching of Hunter Williams, who went seven innings giving up only only four hits and striking out five. Jake Murfitt knocked in the only run.
The Senators turned things around to win Game 2, 7-4, with two RBI from Tayler Clarson and Conor McCarvel. Matt Krieger, Ty McGurran and Riley Chisholm added RBIs of their own on the way to victory.
