FORT SMITH – The first two tournaments of the 2018 National Bass Anglers Association Eastern Montana Challenge are in the books.
Josh Schreiner and Preston Erhardt won the first tournament last Saturday, a four-hour daylight event at the Bighorn Canyon lake.
Scott and Farah Sexton won the second tournament on Sunday, a three-hour daylight challenge also at Bighorn Canyon. Joe Taylor told MTN sports the lake rose a foot overnight, making conditions very difficult Sunday but that teams were still able to catch limits of five fish over 12 inches each.
Tournaments three and four will take place July 13 and 14 at New Johns lake, north of Bismarck, N.D.
