PUEBLO, Colo. – The second leg of the inaugural PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Global Cup – a five-country tournament for worldwide bull riding supremacy – will be streamed to fans through RidePass, the PBR’s western sports digital network, launching a summer of top bull riding and rodeo events now available to fans all over the world digitally.

Following the first stop of the inaugural PBR Global Cup last November in Edmonton, won by Team USA, the world’s top bull riders will now vie for the title of “toughest nation on dirt” at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, on June 9-10.

Fans can watch all five hours of action live from Olympic Park in Sydney – exclusively on RidePass – beginning at 5:30 am ET on June 9 and June 10. The events will also be available on-demand at Noon ET each day.

Award-winning broadcaster and voice of PBR on CBS Craig Hummer will call play-by-play with three-time PBR World Champion Adriano Moraes, who had coached Team Australia in Edmonton, serving as color analyst. PBR on CBS commentator Kate Harrison will provide sideline reporting and PBR insider Justin Felisko will bring fans additional analysis.

“The Global Cup is the biggest event thus far on RidePass, and will kick-start a summer of marquee bull riding and rodeo events on our new western sports digital network,” said Sean Gleason, CEO, PBR. “If the Global Cup’s thrilling debut in Edmonton is any indication, fans can expect an epic competition this weekend in Sydney as the world’s best put it all on the line for their home countries.”

The Global Cup, which transforms an individual performance-based sport into a team-based battle for national pride, headlines an action-packed summer for RidePass. Fans will see some of the best bull riding and rodeo action, including a $100,000 champion’s-only challenge, the junior high and high school finals, and three of the world’s most iconic rodeos. Throughout June and July, RidePass will bring fans:

  • Match of Champions Bull Riding Challenge (Bismarck, N.D. – June 15, 16)
  • National High School Rodeo Association (NHSRA) Texas State Final (Abilene, Tex. – June 15, 16)
