GREAT FALLS – A flame that started its journey April 24 at Port Roosville and made its way across the state from Kalispell to Sidney finally reached a final destination in Great Falls for the start of the Special Olympics Montana state summer games.

Representatives from more than 70 law enforcement agencies, the Guardians of the Flame, teamed with SOMT athletes to help carry the flame over 46 legs and arrived at Centene Stadium in Great Falls for a BBQ Tuesday evening.

MTN Sports caught up with a few athletes at the BBQ to talk about the games and torch run. Click the video for more.
