#5. Toon and the Bison smacking the stuffing out of softballs

AA Softball, battle of the undefeateds. Helena Capital and Great Falls High. Sophomore Anna Toon cranks out a moon shot home run here for the Bison and Great Falls High finds victory once again and still has a zero in that loss column.

#4. Justin Jenks rules supreme in the shot put

We go to the Skor DeKam track meet in Helena. Boys shot put, Helena Capital’s Justin Jenks uncorks 58 feet, 7 inches and he’s yet to be defeated in that event this year.

#3. Bruins alert on the double play

Back to softball, Bozeman visiting Capital, Hawks smack it into right field but check out Mashayla O’Malley with the diving catch and the alertness to throw over to first to get Gabby Klein out as well for the couple play. Bruins get the dub-ya.

Back to the Skor DeKam meet, Boys 100 meter dash, No surprise here, CMR’s Damien Nelson gets the win and puts down the fastest time in the state this year, clocking in at 10.63 seconds!

#1. Lucy Corbett breaks two records!

Same track meet, we go to the girls high jump. Bozeman’s Lucy Corbett jumps 5 feet 10 inches! That breaks the Vigilante Stadium record and the Skor DeKam meet record! Those records held for 30 years until now! Corbett is currently tied for sixth in the nation with that mark.
