BOZEMAN — The Bozeman Bucks scored plenty of runs late, but a game-tying, five-run sixth inning wasn’t enough to overcome the Billings Scarlets in the Magic City on Sunday. The Scarlets plated a run in the bottom of the sixth to secure the 8-7 victory.

Billings scored at least one run in every inning, plating two in each of the first two frames. The Scarlets’ Dylan Johnson led both teams with two runs batted in.

The Bucks fall to 4-3 early in the legion season. Bozeman will host the Belgrade Bandits on Wednesday.
