MISSOULA – For our youth sports spotlight we head over to the baseball diamond where American Legion started this weekend as the Missoula Mavs took on the Bozeman Bucks.
In the first inning lead off man Brendan Buchanan rips a single into center field to get the Mavs going.
Following a steal and a walk, Dane Fraser sent an off-speed pitch to deep left-center. Bozeman gets it in quickly, but both runners on base cross the plate putting the Mavs up 2-0.
Missoula would score three in the first inning, but the bats came alive for the Bucks as they won big 11-5.
