GREAT FALLS – The Great Falls Americans hockey team is playoff bound once again with a 43-31 record. The team honored head coach Jeff Heimel during a 1-0 win over the Yellowstone Quake at the last regular season game of the year on Saturday, February 25th. After this season Heimel will move on to coach with the University of Providence next season. Heimel has been the head coach and General Manager for the Americans the past 6 years and his teams have always been near or at the top of the Frontier Division and playoff bound.
