BUTTE — The City of Butte is proud of its athletic achievements, and a distinguished group of eighth graders is giving its hometown another reason.
The Butte Lady Irish capped off a perfect weekend with a championship victory at the Mile High Classic, marking the first time that the team has taken first place.
The girls, who added to their list of tournament wins, finished undefeated in Butte.
