GREAT FALLS – Great Falls High School teacher Levi Johnson has resigned after “substantial, credible evidence” of a sexual relationship with a student was found, according to KRTV.

Johnson also served as the head coach of the Great Falls Chargers American Legion Baseball team for three seasons, but he did not have his contract renewed after last season. The Chargers compiled a 58-94 record during Johnson’s tenure, including a 27-27 mark last season.

Tony Forster was named the Chargers’ new manager last fall.

KRTV reports that Johnson is being investigated for an alleged relationship with a 17-year-old student. As of Monday afternoon, no criminal charges had been filed, but Johnson has submitted his resignation and is no longer allowed on Great Falls Public Schools premises.
