GLENDIVE – Dawson Community College head volleyball coach Dina Fritzhas announced her team’s 2018 regular season slate. It includes two scrimmages, 16 matches, and four tournaments. The Lady Bucs will host eight games this season.
DCC opens with a scrimmage at Rocky Mountain College on August 15 followed by a scrimmage at Dickinson State on the 18th. The first regular season game will be at Rocky against Rocky’s JV on August 22 at 5 p.m.
The Lady Bucs will also be participating in tournaments at Sheridan College, Colorado Northwestern, Western Nebraska and Lake Region. Their first home match is against Bismarck State on Wednesday, September 12 at 7 p.m.
“I am excited to get our season started,” said Fritz. “We had a great year last year and are looking to build off that this season. I have a great group of girls coming back from last year’s team and an eager group of freshmen looking to make an impact on the program.”
After re-instating volleyball last year, the Lady Bucs went 11-12 and placed 2nd at the Sub-Regional tournament.
