BILLINGS – After a three game Friday, the Montana State University Yellowjackets (15-17, 5-6 GNAC) woke up to fresh snow on the field at Avitus Group Stadium cancelling the fourth and final game of the season against the Western Washington Vikings (11-23, 5-10 GNAC).

MSU Billings won three games over the Vikings yesterday starting with a 2-1 win in Game One before 9-2 and 7-3 wins in the final two games.

Next weekend the Yellowjackets will host four more Great Northwest Athletic Conference games against the Concordia (Ore.) Cavaliers starting Saturday at 12 p.m.

It is the second time this season that the ‘jackets have missed a game due to weather. MSUB missed a game against Sonoma State last week at the Tournament of Champions due to rain. Four more conference series remain of the ‘Jackets schedule for a total of 16 more games this season.
