CORVALLIS, Ore. – Tres Tinkle scored a game-high 21 points and ripped down seven rebounds, but it was not enough for Oregon State to overcome USC. The Trojans knocked off the Beavers on the road, 74-67, on Saturday.

Oregon State led throughout much of the second half, but a more than four minute scoring drought allowed USC to go on an 18-0 run and take a double-digit lead with just over three minutes to play. USC shot 10-of-18 from downtown while Oregon State made just four-of-18 attempts.

USC had four players in double-figures led by Elijah Stewart’s 18. Oregon State (11-8, 3-4) will travel to Eugene to face off with rival Oregon on Jan. 27. USC (15-6, 6-2) will host Stanford on Wednesday.
