Olivia Roberts scores 17, grabs 8 rebounds in Wyoming win

LARAMIE, Wyo. — Olivia Roberts had 17 points and hauled in eight rebounds as the Wyoming Cowgirls picked up another Mountain West win, 61-44 over Utah State.

Roberts, the former Missoula Sentinel state champion, made seven of 11 field goals and hit two free throws for the Cowgirls (12-5 overall, 5-1 Mountain West). Each of her eight rebounds came on the defensive end, and she also added two assists, a block and a steal in 34 minutes.

Roberts continues to climb the Wyoming record books in numerous categories, but remains focused on bringing the Cowgirls a confernece championship and trip to the NCAA Tournament. Wyoming, winners of five straight, is currently tied with UNLV with identical 5-1 league records.

Wyoming travels to Nevada (11-7, 4-3) on Wednesday for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff in Reno.
