BOZEMAN — Helena Capital, Billings Central, Huntley Project and Belt won Montana high school state volleyball championships Saturday at Brick Breeden Fieldhouse.

Capital defeated Bozeman 23-25, 25-19, 25-22, 27-25 for the Class AA championship. It’s the Bruins’ first state title since 2002.

Central repeated as the Class A state champion, getting past Belgrade in the second championship match 22-25, 29-27, 25-15, 25-19.

Huntley Project claimed the 11th Class B state championship in program history in dominant fashion. The Red Devils capped an undefeated season with a 25-18, 25-11, 25-18 win over Florence.

Belt won a thrilling Class C state championship, defeating Bridger 14-25, 21-25, 25-22, 25-17, 15-12 in the second match.
