GREAT FALLS – The Great Falls CMR volleyball team hosted Butte at the CMR Fieldhouse on Thursday. The Rustlers had a tough battle in the first and third sets but ultimately won 3-0 in straight sets, 25-21, 25-13, 25-21.
The win brings CMR to 10-10 on the year and 4-3 in Eastern AA play. Butte drops to 7-12 and 2-4 in conference play.
CMR will host crosstown rival Great Falls High on Oct. 9 in the second meeting between the teams this season. Butte will be on the road next at Bozeman High on Oct. 5.
