MISSOULA – The balance of power in the Western AA might be shifting to Helena. Helena High and Helena Capital each picked up their second consecutive conference sweep over Missoula schools.
Helena High took down two-time defending state champ Missoula Sentinel, 25-23, 25-18, 25-19. Capital stormed past Missoula Hellgate, 25-12, 25-9, 25-13.
Kalispell Flathead also continues to look like a threat in the league. The Bravettes won a crosstown rivalry clash with Kalispell Glacier in five tight sets, 23-25, 25-18, 25-15, 17-25, 15-9.
