GREAT FALLS- The Fairfield girls and boys track and field teams each won district championships at the District 1B meet at Memorial Stadium on Saturday.
The Fairfield boys scored 260 total points, followed by Shelby at 121 and Choteau at 62. Ryder Meyer led the Eagles after winning the 100-, 200- and 400-meter dashes. He set personal records in the 100 and 400.
The Fairfield girls scored 162 points, followed by Cut Bank at 135 and Choteau at 88.
Cut Bank’s Kamdyn Molenda took first place in all five of her events (100, 200, 400, long jump and triple jump). She set personal records in the 400, the long jump and the triple jump.
