WOLF POINT — The Glasgow boys and girls track and field teams swept the team titles at Friday’s Gene Nelson Memorial track meet in Wolf Point.

Glasgow’s boys scored 125 points to pace the field, while second-place Richey-Lambert finished with 100. The Glasgow girls cruised to victory with 113 points. Second-place Wolf Point had 72.

Glasgow’s Tyler Fitzsimmons won both the 100- and 200-meter dashes, clocking in at 11.80 seconds and 23.77. Those were the only two wins for the Scotties, but depth pushed Glasgow to the team title.

Dylan Nieskens finished second in the 400-meter dash, Alec Boland and Jeremiah McCoy finished fourth and fifth in the 800-meter run and three Scotties finished in the top five of the 300-meter hurdles.

In the field events, Chevy Boos posted a third-place finish in the discus, Kaden Fossum finished second in javelin and Boland finished second in high jump.

On the girls side, Emily Kolstad was Glasgow’s only individual winner on the track, winning the 400 in 1 minute, 1.78 seconds. Glasgow also won the 400-meter relay in 53.32.

Brennan Peters won the discus with a throw of 100 feet, 9 inches, and Tehya Campbell won the javelin with a throw of 122-11.50.
