BAKER — The Glendive boys and Baker girls track and field teams claimed titles at Saturday’s Baker Invitational. Glendive held off a strong performance from Richey-Lambert, while Baker ran away from the girls field.

Glendive didn’t have a first-place finish on the track, but the Red Devils cleaned up in the field events on their way to 123 points. Reed Cooley won the shot put with a toss of 48 feet, 10 inches, while teammates Boe Eaton and Calvin Kuztler finished second and third, respectively. Max Eaton also placed fifth for Glendive. Boe Eaton, Max Eaton and Cooley finished third, fifth and sixth in the discus, and Max Eaton took third in the javelin.

Wrzesinski won the 100 (13.33), the 100 hurdles (15.92) and 300 hurdles (46.88). She also ran on Baker’s winning 400-meter relay team. Both hurdle times represent season bests for Wrzesinski.
