BUTTE – Butte Central hosted a total of 34 teams Friday for the two-day long Laverne Combo Softball Invitational at Stodden and Longfellow parks.
Butte Central’s first game of the day marked only the third time it has played at home this entire 2019 season. The Maroons picked up a 7-2 win over Laurel, Manhattan took down Browning 7-4, and Anaconda cruised to a 13-1 win over Shelby.
