GREAT FALLS – The Great Falls CMR softball team hosted Billings West for a doubleheader at the Great Falls Multi-Sports Complex on Saturday, April 27th.

In the first game, the teams went back and forth. The Rustler’s took a 4-3 lead heading into the sixth inning, but an RBI single from Kinzee Koch tied the score at 4 heading into the seventh. Then in the bottom of the frame, CMR’s Megan Toplovich lauched a walk-off solo home run to clinch a 5-4 victory.

It’s now the second straight week that the Rustlers have had a walk-off home run win in the seventh inning, the other being Kiely Gunderson’s two run bomb in a victory against Billings Senior on April 19th.

Billings West came back and defeated CMR in the second game, 7-1.

The Great Falls High softball team hosted Bozeman for a doubleheader. The Bison rolled in both games, 23-0 in 5 innings in the first game and 24-3 in 2 innings in the second. Defending AA champion Great Falls High improves its schedule to 11-0 on the year.
