BILLINGS – West High made quick work Bozeman Friday afternoon erupting for eight runs in the 3rd inning on the way to a 10-0 run-rule win.
The Bears (8-2, 3-2) scored two in the 1st inning for a quick lead and that’s all pitcher Devon Creech needed. She threw a complete game shutout with nine strikeouts.
Seven players earned hits for West led by Kinzee Koch who was 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
Bozeman was coming off its first varsity softball win in two years after beating Butte Thursday, 13-9.
