MISSOULA — The Missoula Sentinel Spartans won the first crosstown softball showdown in the Garden City this season, taking down Missoula Hellgate 11-1 on Thursday.
Hellgate scored first to take a 1-0 lead in the first inning, but Sentinel scored three in the bottom of the inning to go up 3-1. The Spartans kept scoring the rest of the evening to go on for the lopsided Western AA victory.
