POLSON — The Polson High School girls soccer team started a two-week quarantine on Tuesday, Sept. 29 after a member of the team was identified as a close-contact to a positive COVID-19 case.

The Polson High School principal, Andrew Fors, confirmed the news with MTN on Monday morning.

With the two-week quarantine, Polson had to cancel its game against Columbia Falls on Sept. 29 and will now miss out on the final three games of its season against Libby, Bigfork and Whitefish.

The quarantine will end on Tuesday, Oct. 13, just four days before the first round of the State A soccer playoffs begins.
