Philipsburg School District adjusts sports schedules due to COVID-19

PHILIPSBURG — Due to the recent spike in COVID-19 cases across the state, the Philipsburg School District has decided to adjust its sports schedules.

Philipsburg volleyball was set to play Seeley-Swan at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. That game has been postponed to Oct. 21 at 5:30 p.m.

However, Saturday's game against Darby will not be rescheduled and will be considered a no-contest.

The non-conference game with Hot Springs set for Tuesday, Oct. 13 will also not be rescheduled and will be considered a no-contest.

The football game between Drummond-Philipsburg and Sheridan will go on as scheduled at 7 p.m. Friday but will be played in Drummond.
