BUTTE — The East defeated the West in a high-scoring affair Saturday in the second annual Montana High School All-Star Baseball Game at 3 Legends Stadium in Butte.
The East won 17-16 in the nine-inning contest. An RBI single by Columbus' Koleman Gairrett brought in the go-ahead run in the bottom of the eighth, and the West wasn't able to extend the game beyond the top of the ninth.
