MISSOULA — Now it’s time to meet the last star in the running for student-athlete of the year at the KPAX Sports Awards Banquet, Missoula Loyola’s Emma Daniel.
The senior Breaker accomplished a lot in her four years. She was part of the soccer, tennis, track and field, basketball and cheer-leading teams.
Daniel will be heading to Boise State next year to major in environmental studies and journalism, while also playing for the club soccer team. She’s excited to grow as a person away from home.
“I am most excited for this next step in my life, because I’ve been pretty babied my whole life, so it’s exciting to step out and become the person I am going to be,” said Daniel.
Daniel and the rest of our nominees and award winners will be honored at the KPAX Sports Awards Banquet Wednesday night. The fun starts at the Hilton Garden Inn at 5:30 p.m.
