BILLINGS – The Billings West boys and Billings Senior girls won bragging rights in the pool Saturday by capturing team titles at the Billings city swim meet.
Michael Van Keuren and Brayden Arnold each won two races to lead the West boys to 125 points, outpacing second-place Skyview (99). Senior was third with 43.
Van Keuren won the 200-yard IM in 2:03.67 and the 100-yard butterfly in 54.93 seconds. Arnold won the 100-yard backstroke in 59.63 and the 200-yard freestyle in 1 minute, 57.83 seconds.
Ellie Crouse and Julia McMullan also each won two races to help Senior’s girls edge out West for the title, 115.5 to 107. Skyview finished third with 82.5.
Crouse won 50-yard freestyle in 26.72 and 100-yard butterfly in 1:03.91. McMullan won the 200-yard IM in 2:26.61 and added a win in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:13.73.
