MISSOULA – The Missoula Sentinel boys notched an impressive crosstown rivalry and conference win on Thursday afternoon, but the girls didn’t get a chance to finish a victory.

The Spartan boys scored four goals in both halves to blow past Missoula Big Sky, 8-0.

The Spartan girls led Big Sky 2-1 in the first half, when lightning and rain caused a delay. They decided to postpone the finish of the game until a later date.

Missoula’s week full of crosstown soccer finishes when Big Sky treks to Missoula Hellgate on Saturday. The boys kickoff at 10 a.m., with the girls following and noon.
