BILLINGS -- Friday was business as usual for the soccer girls at Laurel and Billings Central. Well, almost.

Central found itself trailing for the first time this season after Josie Windauer put Columbia Falls up 1-0 in the rain-soaked opening minutes at MSUB's College of Technology Field.

But the Rams answered with a hat trick from senior forward Zoie Althoff. She headed in a cross from Molly Molvig to tie it 1-1 entering halftime, then closed with two more in the second half for a 3-1 Central win. The defending Class A state champs are still unbeaten this season.

Laurel's girls are also perfect and have yet to give up a goal. The Locomotives cruised past Bigfork on a rainy night under the lights in Laurel. Freshman Mya Maack added another hat trick to her resume on the way to a 9-0 victory.

Laurel's boys handled Bigfork 5-1 in the early match. Central's boys played to a 2-2 draw against Columbia Falls.

The teams swap opponents in Billings and Laurel on Saturday.
