MISSOULA — The Helena High Bengals girls soccer team came to Missoula on Thursday afternoon to take on the Sentinel Spartans in Western AA action.
From the start, it was a physical game, and it ultimately ended in a 1-1 draw.
Helena scored early to take a 1-0 lead, but after that both teams got close to scoring but couldn't find the back of the net.
In the second half, Sentinel scored a goal on a long shot from Aisley Allen to tie it up at 1-1. Both teams had two shots on goal down the stretch but couldn't finish.
Sentinel (1-3-5) takes on Helena Capital (0-5-3) on Oct. 5. Helena (4-3-2) takes on Missoula Big Sky (3-2-3) on Oct. 5.
