The Scarlets also won a divisional championship in 2016 before losing at the state tournament to eventual runner-up Box Elder.

This season, Arlee fell to Scobey and Wibaux in its first two games at the state tournament. Vanderburg was a MontanaSports.com all-tournament team selection.
