COLUMBUS – Huntley Project’s girls outscored Columbus 22-12 in the fourth quarter Saturday to earn a come-from-behind 50-44 win that likely will propel the Red Devils to the District 4B title.

Columbus led 32-28 going into the fourth, but Emily Poole led Huntley Project back with a team-high 17 points. Amanda Cranford added 12. Breanna Rouane led the Cougars with 18.

The win moves Huntley Project to 8-1 in conference play, one game ahead of Roundup at 7-2. Columbus is third at 6-3. Each has one 4B game left – Huntley Project just needs to beat last-place Shepherd next week to win the regular-season title.
