BUTTE – Not even 24 hours after a big Class A Southwestern win against rival Dillon, the Butte Central Lady Maroons hosted the Park High School.

Right off the back Park had a big size advantage which they exposed early, finding senior center Danielle Babcox for easy baskets underneath. Their transition game was also strong early on, giving Park an early lead after one quarter of play. But Butte Central was not going to roll over in this one. Senior Tricia Joyce did what she does best and stepped up in big moments keeping the game close for the Lady Maroons. After a slow start from Butte Central they stepped up and defended their home court for a second straight win in as many days beating the Park Lady Rangers 39 to 29.
