Belt basketball splits doubleheader with Fairfield

FAIRFIELD – The Fairfield basketball teams welcomed in the Belt Huskies on Thursday night for a doubleheader.

The Belt girls came away with a big 30-point victory, 69-39. The Huskies were led by Kolby Pimperton, who finished with 24 points and six 3-pointers. Fairfield was led by Kenna Pitcher with 21 points.

The Fairfield boys prevailed over Belt, 66-50, for the Huskies’ first loss of the year. The Eagles were led by Dawson Allen, who finished with 23 points. Trace Gulick finished with 10. Belt was led by Aiden McDaniel, who had 29 points.
