BOZEMAN – One of the best receivers in the Treasure State is headed into enemy territory. MTN Sports has confirmed that Bozeman wide receiver Ryan Simpson has officially committed to play football for the University of Montana.
Simpson, a 6-foot-6 senior, had a breakout season in 2018 with 922 yards receiving and 12 touchdowns. He also added four interceptions on the defensive side with one returned for a touchdown.
He is the fourth Bozeman Hawk to receive a Division I scholarship this year and will join his quarterback, Kris Brown, with the Grizzlies. Running back Joe Olson and receiver Ryan Lonergan both committed to Montana State, and all four will sign their national letters of intent on Wednesday.
