LAUREL — The Laurel Locomotives built a 22-0 first-half lead and held on for a 29-14 win over Belgrade, knocking the Panthers from the ranks of Class A unbeatens on Friday night. Each team is now 4-1 this season.
Gage Hull had a hand in two touchdowns in the opening half, a short run for the Locos’ second score of the game, plus a touchdown pass to Gage Leischner to build the 22-0 advantage. Ethan Major’s third-quarter score put Belgrade on the board.
Easton Page added a late touchdown for the Panthers, but the damage was already done.
