BRIDGER – The defending 6-Man runner-up opened the 2018 season with a statement win on Friday night, as the Bridger Scouts downed Broadview-Lavina 96-0 in a running clock affair.
Bridger piled on 48 points in the opening quarter, leading 64-0 at halftime. The dominance continued in the second half, with the Scouts scoring two touchdowns in the third quarter and adding three more in the fourth.
Bridger, which fell to Westby-Grenora in last fall’s 6-Man championship game, hosts Custer-Hysham next Friday.
