LAUREL -- A set piece goal on the game's final play lifted Columbia Falls to a 2-1 win over Laurel's soccer girls on Saturday.

Trailing 1-0 in stoppage time, the Locomotives tied it at 1-1 when Morgan Maack's cross was knocked in by a Wildkats defender for an own-goal.

Moments later, Columbia Falls' Josie Windauer deflected a kick from 46 yards for the winning goal. Windauer scored both goals in the win and all three Wildkat goals for the weekend, which included a 3-1 Friday loss to Billings Central.

Laurel hadn't allowed a goal all season entering Saturday's match. Maack appeared to put the Locomotives on the board mid-first half but offside was whistled.

The Locomotives travel to Livingston on Thursday. Columbia Falls plays at Libby.

Billings Central is the only remaining unbeaten girls team in Class A. The Rams handled Bigfork at home 10-0 on Saturday. Central hosts Laurel next Saturday at 12 p.m. on the campus of Rocky Mountain College.

Central's boys beat the Bigfork 6-1. Laurel's boys beat Columbia Falls 4-1.
