MISSOULA — On Tuesday afternoon the Butte Bulldogs came down to Missoula to take on the Hellgate Knights in a Class AA volleyball match.
In the first set, Butte came out firing. The Bulldogs' tallest player, senior Emma Field standing 6-foot-3, started with two big slams for a point. After that Hellgate settled in nicely and started to find a rhythm.
It was tied at 12-all in the first set until Butte started to pull away, rattling off five straight points.
In the end Butte took the first three sets for the sweep of the Knights.
