BELGRADE — It was Senior Night at the Belgrade soccer complex on Tuesday as the boys and girls took on Bozeman High looking to send their seniors off with a win.

Drew Johnson would be absolutely on fire for Bozeman, though, as he would go on to score six goals in the first half. That would tie the state record for most goals in a game, which was held by Corvallis' Emmett Semple from a game in 2016, according to the Montana High School Association record books. Johnson would be unable to score in the second half to break the record, but Bozeman cruised to an 8-0 win to remain undefeated (4-0-0).

In the girls game, Bozeman would lead 1-0 throughout until only a few minutes remained.

On a corner kick, Belgrade goalie Mackenzie Turner would deflect the ball, bouncing it off the cross bar and her own player's head for an own goal. That would help Bozeman secure the game for the 2-0 win.
