BILLINGS – Billings West’s boys jumped out to a 12-0 lead and never looked back in a 79-39 win over crosstown rival Billings Senior Thursday at the Golden Dome.

West increased the lead to 25-9 after the first quarter, and were up 42-22 at halftime thanks to 10 points each from Tyson and Jesse Owens. Senior Carsen Mayer caught fire in the third quarter, hitting five 3-pointers, including a 30-foot buzzer beater to put West up 70-35. Meyer hit at least seven 3s overall.

West moves to 9-5 overall, 6-2 in the Eastern AA. Senior falls to 1-13, 1-7.
