DILLON — In a matchup you don’t see often, the Dillon Beavers welcomed in Class AA powerhouse Bozeman for a cross-class boys basketball game on Tuesday night, as the Beavers celebrated Senior Night.

The Beavers came out strong, ready to defend their home court. Michael Haverfield and Braden Anderson established a lead early on and good defense stifled the Hawks for about six and a half minutes of the first quarter. However, the Hawks showed why they are one of the best in Class AA. Hudson Willett and Carter Ash caught fire from all over the floor late in the first to give Bozeman a slim 13-9 lead.

Bozeman would hold on for a close win on the road by a final of 46-44.
