HELENA — It didn’t take long for Helena Capital to blow open its Saturday afternoon boys basketball game against Western AA foe Kalispell Flathead. The Bruins scored 46 first-half points on their way to a 74-51 win over the Braves.
Brady Martin had a monster first half for Capital, nearly outscoring Flathead himself. Martin hit five 3-pointers, including one to beat the first-quarter buzzer, on his way to 18 points in the opening half, while Flathead managed just 21.
Capital improves to 5-6 overall and 2-3 in Western AA play, while Flathead falls to 4-6, 1-3.
