BUTTE – Butte Central hosted Southwestern A foe Stevensville on Saturday night with its unbeaten record on the line.
It didn’t take long for Butte Central to get points on the board. After a slow first two minutes from both sides, the Maroons began to put on a shooting display from 3-point land. Cade Holter, Brayden Harrington, and even the big man Aaron Richards, got in on the action. Butte Central jumped out to a 19-5 lead as time was about to expire in the first. However, Logan Roth drilled a last-second 3 for the Yellowjackets as the quarter was about to end, making the score 19-8 heading into the second quarter.
Butte Central rolled past Stevensville, 69-34.
