It was back and forth for much of the game. Central led 7-3 after a slow first quarter. Lewistown came back to take the lead in the second but trailed 23-19 at half after Central’s Chrishon Dixon hit a buzzer-beating triple. Dixon led the Rams with 23 points.
Lewistown again came back in the third, taking a three-point lead midway through the quarter thanks to Tanner Trafton’s game-high 24 points. But the Rams tied it up at 35 before Seth Sasich beat the third quarter buzzer with a 3 of his own to give Central a 38-35 lead. The Rams would never trail again.
Central moves to 10-1 with the win. Lewistown falls to 7-4.
