BUTTE — With Class A boys basketball shaping up to be yet again one of the most competitive classes in the state of Montana, the Butte Central boys are looking like one of the teams to beat early on.
The Maroons have been nothing short of spectacular in the early part of the season, showing they have what it takes to make a deep run in the Class A state tournament come March. Head coach Brodie Kelly and his squad feel that their success comes from all the hard work they’ve been putting in for the past couple seasons and their experience will prove to be a difficult match up for opponents.
“I think our guys are playing with a lot of confidence right now,” Kelly said. “I think coming back with the experience we had last year helped us progress early in the season. And then in turn, we were able to, you know, prepare pretty well for these early games, and guys playing with a lot of confidence making shots and having a lot of fun playing together.”
