BILLINGS – The second half was a tale of two quarters and, ultimately, Billings Skyview accelerated in the one that mattered most.
The Falcons rallied from a 15-point deficit with 5:48 remaining Friday night at home to hand Billings Central its first loss of the season, 58-53.
The Rams led 17-15 after one and increased it to 28-23 at halftime. Central appeared primed to keep its perfect record intact after closing a dominant third quarter with a 43-29 lead.
Early in the fourth, Chrishon Dixon rifled a pass inside to Tyler Gray from the top of the key, holding Central’s lead at 48-38 with under 6:00 left.
But Skyview (4-1) closed the game on a 20-5 run, marching into the holiday break on a high note.
